Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most well-known role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a co-host on the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan, as member of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. Her general assignment work has included stories on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. The company hired her CNN Newsource as a National Correspondent in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, covering breaking news as well as feature reports to over 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She previously worked with NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV as well as WTVD-TV. She lives now living in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandkids.
