Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) is a famous American writer and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She previously served as an associate professor of law at the University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl, who was born and raised within Yakima located in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the Chief Investigative Counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She taught law as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. From 2001 until 2017, Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
