Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily involved in Tamil or Malayalam films. Her acting debut was with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah was born as a child in Chennai. He attended National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was an avid enthusiast and wanted to be a psychiatrist after passing her 12th board exams.Andrea learned classical piano at the age of eight. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. While at college, she was also performing as a theatre artist in stage plays that were put on by The Madras Players. The president was of the The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's theatre career began by appearing in the film of Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva as a leo advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She has also acted in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. The actress has appeared all over India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea is Kalyani as a wife and mother of a man with an affair. The film was commissioned to take on a lesser supporting role. Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, released in 2013, marked her Malayalam debut.
