Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics when she was a six-year-old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next eleven years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to the level of elite competition in the year 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular sport. Biles stood out for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed at each of the four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and the balance beam.
